Episode 3 – Solid Liquid Air – Trying to Connect
Case tries to connect to someone who has had the Bexis-Zed device installed. The conversation happens through IRC. The information is not entirely clear, and there are limited replies. Case concludes that she is in no way, “more or less convinced of the technology”, and that she needs, “more information in order to make an informed decision as to whether to continue with the procedure”.

Solid Liquid Air is a documentary about a procedure that cyborg anthropologist Amber Case will be receiving. The procedure is pretty new and still somewhat experimental. Several documentary filmmakers will be covering Case’s psychological and physical states over the next few months during the adjustment process. Episodes will be released weekly to this website.

I’m somewhat concerned that so little information on the Bexis-Zed device is available. Have they published any papers on the tech? Even an abstract explaining the basics of how the device functions would be novel. I can understand them keeping quiet on a commercial venture before it goes fully public, but it would be nice to have a better idea of what you’re in for.
